Decided I was hungry this morning so it's three eggs and toast with strawberry jam.
Later today I'm going to finish cutting down a tree in the front yard that I started on yesterday.  It really opened up the yard and makes it seem bigger because it's getting more light.  That tree wasn't in a good place and I've been thinking of cutting it down for awhile now.

You should cut down the tree with the SOG saw

I'll put myself in timeout now

I finished topping the tree with a Fiskars pole saw, but the trunk was dinner plate diameter.  A bit much for the saw in the PowerLock.  On the other hand, it was easily cut by my Tanaka chainsaw.  I like Japanese chainsaws. They are fast, fast, fast, and Tanaka (same parent company that makes Makita power tools) has the best consumer warranty going.  5 years coverage for homeowner use.  I bought the saw for processing Oak for my smoker grill.  I haven't bought charcoal since 2005 because I keep getting free Oak whenever we get a storm or the neighbors trim their trees and I just have to cut it into small enough pieces.

Correction on the above...

Tanaka is part of the Hitachi Group, not Makita, and their warranty for consumers is 7 years, not 5 years.

I was so close, but I missed it by |----| that much. :twak:
