Sorry guys, the opportunity presented itself, and the internet Gods demanded it be done.To be honest, im glad I got a reaction out of yall. I was beginning to think no one was actually reading these threads. I guess we are all doing the same thing, silently monitoring each other (at least I know I am).
Day 26Cut some florists wet foam for my DIY humidor. Its almost complete, just need distilled water and a couple cigars(Image removed from quote.)

I guess they are basically the stuff from inside a diaper (or those small bags that comes with shoes)...
Day 27Oi vey, theres nothing to do around here! I should have done these challenges when I moved in, I could get some good action shots. Alas, ive already fixed everything in this apartment that isn't maintenance's problem. So, heres a couple pics of my Pocket power Plier, and my DIY humidor setup. (Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)The $3 hygrometer seems to be stable, and the relative humidity of my bedroom is apparently 55%? Does that sound right?

You would need the dry bulb temperature and a wet bulb temperature (sling psychrometer) and plot the numbers on a psycrometric chart (or calculator) to find the relative humidity.

Complicated technical procedure and professional equipment not really necessary. Just put your cigars in the box and wet the sponge and close the lid. Leave it sealed for a week. If the cigars are OK and the sponge is still wet after that week, don't add water. If the cigars are OK but the sponge is dry, add water. If the cigars and the sponge have dried out then you're losing too much moisture too fast and you need a better seal.
Now I need to find some cigars I like. There was a Romeo y Julieta one that was really great (nice buzz, tasted good), but the only thing I know about it was that it came In a silver container, was about a 1.5" too long to enjoy, and cost $18 from a hotel bar.Any ideas?

And generally just a bit to long to enjoy smoking all of them...
