JP Power Challenge
on: January 01, 2016, 10:38:59 PM

My first pliers based MT given to me as a Christmas gift from my sweetheart in 2001.

Unfortunately my spouse hasn't gifted me one.

The spring is off the bit driver but after contacting the folks at SOG they are mailing me a replacement set.....makes me want to buy myself another SOG MT.

Yesterday the PPP Deluxe built a pop bottle bird feeder with my son and today it fixed the jammed DVD drive on the DVD player. Go Diego Go!

Took the base off of the Christmas tree. The Phillips driver kept collapsing when spun to its weak side.

Not much has been happening. I have used the blade to open packages, envelopes and boxes but no other tool has needed deployment.

...The spring is off the bit driver but after contacting the folks at SOG they are mailing me a replacement set.....

You can hold the spring onto the bit driver securely using a section of heat shrink tubing, as discussed here:  http://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,39195.msg629021/topicseen.html#msg629021

How does that work with adjacent tools? I would imagine the shrink tubing being in the way.

What would Spock Do? The only logical thing would be to add $1 and buy two new tickets.
