Hey guys I haven't posted in a while, but I ran across this auction on eBay earlier this week and picked one up for myself; the deal is too good not to share.  :cheers:

Looks like new old stock. Unless I'm mistaken; it has the drop point blade and original pouch which aren't in production anymore.

I saw this guy at the Metrolina show a few weekends back.  Should have snapped them up then, but I was more focused on M1As....

I bought one, just to make you guys feel better.  I'll keep in virginous with the paper and box.  It will be stored with my other hoarded MTs until my death, at which time my heirs will either throw it away or sell it at a yard sale at a deep discount.

Ah, so one of the broken MP600s I bought was probably a MultiLock. I just wasn't sure if there was any actual change in the platform or if it was just the name mostly. I'm still relatively new to the Gerber MTs and trying to learn all these little details.

I ordered one from the first link.  Arrived today.  It's my first Gerber.  Looks pretty cool.  Can't wait to put it into rotation!

Pretty sure the seller labeled it as a weapon, or some other specific thing that flags it that way. I've certainly never had that message on any of my four MP600 purchases, or any other knife/MT I've bought on ebay.

Finally got around to fiddling with this new tool. Is it normal to have a fair amount of play between the plier head and the body when the pliers are deployed?

Ok cool.  Seems like it wiggles a bit more than the Pro Scout I just got but doesn't seem to have any effect on operation.
