Someone is selling new PST plus original sheath for $35/ea on ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/ORIGINAL-LEATHERMAN-PST-MULTI-TOOLS-With-Cases/272263918607
He has multiple units. Plier head does not have USA stamp, so these should be fairly recent.

I received my Japan PST today. It does not have JAPAN stamped anywhere on it. I notice the handles spread wider than a US-made PST (pliers in closed position). Are all Japan PST versions that way?

Yes.
They really should bring back a new version of it. Or maybe make a slimmer/lighter version of the Rebar?
I guess all the PST clones already on the market would make it impossible to make a new version in the old frame.

The Pulse if not for the rocker locks is a slimmer Rebar but I have little hope they will bring it back  Just gonna have to get me some scissors and mod mine :D

The Rebar is pretty slim, and a great tool.
But the PST just disapears in the pocket.
I wish the PST had locking tools thoug. Especially the drivers.

Question is, do you join the club when first posting here , or when you first obtained the tool?
If its the latter, then I have been a member since 2002 ;)
