Once of my all time favorite bands.  I grew up on this music and it saddens me the time has finally come.  What an amazing music making machine this man was.

Condolence out to all who loved this man.

I have to admit I was never a huge disco/soul fan, but I suspect everyone knows a few of his songs.  Sad to hear he's gone. :(

Solving problems you didn't know you had in the most obscure way possible

"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob

I heard about his passing last night. Earth Wind and Fire could hold a groove like no other. They could have you out shaking your tail on the dance floor in one song and do a slow jam next smoother than Billy Dee Williams drinking some Colt 45.

Thanks for all the fantastic music
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

I might be crazy but it's kept me from going insane- Waylon Jennings
