I was very saddened too here about Dave taking his life,41 is too young,my daughter rides one of his mirraco bmx's, he was a true freestyle legend .

As i suffer depression and no how bad it gets i feel so sad that dave got to this point,friends and loved ones sometimes cant help,i hope he is now at peace, he will never be forgotten in the bmx world

This is very sad news. I too understand depression, having been there in the past, and understand what a difficult (and lonely) place it can be.

He was a giant in the bmx world and X games realm. Gone too soon. Thanks for all the memories and jumps
