Nothing like a good steak, a good drink, and a good knife. But I cringe a little thinking about that knife edge against that ceramic plate!

Yeah, when I use a SAK as a steak knife, I only cut part-way through, then flip it over and cut the rest of the way. Otherwise, yeah, you're sacrificing the edge.
