New to Forum

Hi folks, new to Forum. I like to EDC Gerber multitool. I use it pretty much every day at work. I am considering getting a Leatherman Surge. I live a few hours from Portland,Oregon so I want to make the trip to the Leatherman Store soon...

Welcome aboard, nice sheath did you make it or have it made? I have one similar that I did myself for my leatherman and a flashlight, at the time there was no sheath that would fit the flashlight.. So I tried my hand at leather,,

Thanks, yes I made them myself. I got tired of the nylon sheaths coming apart. Now I have the leatherwork bug. Lol.

Lol, yeah it kinda sucks, you just wanna keep doing something! My younger kid is turning 12 next month and he will be getting his first sak, well he likes the black/red combo so I bought him a black sheath but I ended up ripping out all the stitching and redoing it with red, I got pics on here somewhere, same with the combo pancake like yours, I'd like to see some of your work, same with a lot of others on here, I'll see if I can find a pic of my pancake..

I made a second pancake and made it a little narrower.     Then I bought a Japanese Stitching Iron and made another pouch with Flashlight loop.

Here I found a pic, it was one of my first leather projects but one of fav sheaths, nothing fancy but an absolute comfortable fit!

Lol, no way, that's funny, but yeah I guess that makes it a small world! Look around I have some other work, but it's late and I gotta turn in for the night, but again welcome aboard!
