do not buy Tawanese nuclear bombs... They appear to be knock-offs...

"The Taiwanese navy has accident blown a fishing vessel out of the water with a nuclear missile
...
One of the projectiles was disabled by the ship’s simulation device - used to prevent missile launches during military exercises - while the other shot towards the Taiwan Strait and struck the fishing boat some 40 nautical miles out, near Taiwan’s outlying Penghu Islands, killing the skipper and injuring three of his crew."

There are no long-term studies yet as the e-cig is a fairly recent thing. So, in a sense, everybody vaping is a sort of guinea pig.

I tried the e-cig once. It felt like vaping liquid soap or some of those aromatic oils for use on burners. I didn't like that. The problem is you can't tell what chemicals are contained in the various mixes and there's no regulation about that as far as I know.

I'll stick to my 2-3 cigarettes until I quit for good this time.

Just as you [Eichmann] supported and carried out a policy of not wanting to share the earth with the Jewish people and the people of a number of other nations—as though you and your superiors had any right to determine who should and who should not inhabit the world—we find that no one, that is, no member of the human race, can be expected to want to share the earth with you. This is the reason, and the only reason, you must hang.

It's a shame that the negative press headlines cause people to think you as you do, but as with most of the headlines on e-cigs they are usually based on very flawed studies and those studies were usually funded by people with interests in stopping people switching to vaping. That specific study referred to isn't new and was debunked a while ago as actually not being significant as the comment in that piece by Tom Pruen (a friend of mine) shows. You have to keep in mind, that everybody involved in tobacco control (including research professionals) have an "interest" in ecigs!

To date there's only been one, true review of all the studies on e-cigs that could truly be considered independent and that was done by Public Health England. If you really want a balanced view of what is known (and we know an awful lot, ecigs have been around for a decade now) I'd recommend you read this one: https://www.gov.uk/government/news/e-cigarettes-around-95-less-harmful-than-tobacco-estimates-landmark-review

Sorry to be a bit defensive, but I've dedicated the last 6 years of my life to fighting the ill-informed (and often blatantly corrupt) attempts to find problems with ecigs where they are demonstrated not to exist. I'm not an evangelist or anything, I believe people should smoke, vape - do what they like, but I'll always shoot down dodgy headlines where I can!

It sounds like your experience with vaping wasn't a good one, which is a shame, but I'll throw a couple of links for you to check out if you are genuinely interested. Maybe you bought some dodgy liquid or something (certainly shouldn't be vaping "oils" that's for sure)!

Re: the Daily Mirror headline above about ecigs...

They actually picked the story from another part of the English gutter press - The Sun. These rags often regurgitate each others "stories". Anyhow - to the point, this is a far more balanced response on the subject matter printed as a direct response to those scare stories the other day form a proper paper, The Spectator:

I've been watching this pattern for a few years now, lol.

German U-Boat has been spotted 30 miles off the coast of North Carolina - 72 years after it sank during a Nazi mission.
Wreckage of the submerged U-576 submarine was discovered by sonar near Ocracoke on August 24, seven years after the search began.

Looks sharp. Not exactly pretty is it? Then again, I doubt that was particularly important to the designers, lol.
