Hey, congrats on a nice old find there Prime!  Wow, complete with a tool kit and a mint box. That is sweet!

Say, here is a question for you; how does one go about disassembling one of these 5th series Gerbers? I want to remove the plier head from mine and give it a good cleaning. I'm guessing the little round slider button must have to line up with the little hole in the slot track.....but how to unscrew the big round slider??

Bob, I tried to do the same with mine, but failed miserably.

Prime, that sheath looks great.  :)
I'm back!!

I might have to buy a Gerber just for that sheath!

I was looking over the sheath that came with the Multi-plier and couldn't figure out why it had a button snap and and folded out. Looking it over some more I realized what the inner section is for.

It's to hold the bit adapter and extra bits. Talk about a well thought out design.

Pretty cool. 8)

That is a pretty damn awesome sheath! Wonder why they stopped making it? ???

I wish I had that... Also when did they stop making the sheaths in the US?

I have one just like this one only missing a few of the tools and I have the original sheath with it.
