Nicely done mate.
A SAK without screwdrivers... At first I want to be all and Then I see it is riding with an S2. Perfect companion piece for this SAK!

Just seen this S-Mizzle - excellent mod. I wish I was as brave as you to leave the opener layer out. Maybe I'll do that next time. You've picked a great set of tools and I love seeing the awl in a 91mm frame. Did you have to pack the awl out at the pivot or did it just slip in ok? I had a bit of trouble with my two.

Thanks mags, I appreciate it. I'm not quite sure what you mean by "pack the awl out" but I didn't need to modify anything to fit it in. It was a simple drop in for me. I kept the spacer in place as well, to make sure there was enough room for the main blade. The awl (plus spacer) is slightly too wide for the blade back spring, but you would have to be looking for it to notice, and it doesn't affect function at all.

My Pikachu has the newer thinner tanged main blade and I removed the spacer and popped in a very thin washer to make up the difference and on my Greenwood which has the older thicker tanged main blade I filed the spacer down a bit and that fits really well.I wonder now whether I had to go to all the trouble I did

I was preparing to do the same as you did on Pikachu, but figured id try it without first. It worked fine, so I left it stock. I actually started with a older, thicker tang blade and liner, but switches to the newer ones with the bump in the washer and thinner tang, as it actually fit a little better with the keyring spacer and awl. Yours probably doesn't have the same gap that mine does though.

I do like the mod.very well sLaughterMed I would like that with scissors and an inline Phillips What would have to be opposite the Phillips beside the magnifier I could live with it but would like to know if there are other options

Can be done on the 93mm with some work.

It might be an interesting place to put a T&T and Pen holder though...

Well I am nearly to the point of tearing a Champion apart and adding an inline awl in place of the small blade taking the scaler and openers out and I will have a very similar but a bit wider SAK than this one I just need to source an inline awl Any ideas guys on where to get one without taking a Pioneer or similar apart Or anyone know of a place to get a pile of dirty SAKs

Let me know if you find a good source for the inline awl, I could use a few too
What is awl this commotion? I reckon anyone in their right mind would love an opportunity to get their dirty mitts on a Pioneer-less awl.How about two inline screwdrivers in the same layer, with one of them filed down to be awl pointy?-tom
