Searching Good Rechargeable Light
on:
March 13, 2016, 12:58:13 PM
My old K2 from Led Lenser died (dropped it one too many times).
I had rechargeable light at my work and really liked it, no more hassle with batteries.
I really liked K2, but i think its time to find new one.
Been looking for P5R.2 as its pretty much the largest light I would like to EDC.
(at 2,72oz / 77g and a lenght of 4,6inch / 11,7cm)
Any flashlights you would recommend?
Brand doesn't matter.
Prize doesn't matter either.
Is P5R.2 worth it?

The Streamlight Strion is excellent.

Consider also using NiMH rechargeable batteries in virtually any light - AA, AAA, etc. Or an 18650 rechargeable battery in any light that accepts it - FourSevens, Fenix, etc.
I prefer using rechargeable batteries rather than a rechargeable light, because you can drop in fully charged batteries without having to wait several hours to charge up a rechargeable light.
You can also get something like a Strion, plus an additional Strion battery. That gives you the best of both worlds, as you can charge the light on the charger, or drop in a fully charged battery if you don't want to wait.
