Hi all! Decided to finally join the forum after lurking -forever- (and usually drooling over all the Victorinox finds and daily carries). I've been carrying one Swiss Army Knife or another since I was in Cub Scouts some 30 years ago. Originally, I was gifted one because I watched a lot of MacGyver, haha.

Now, I tend to carry on rotation. Could be a Tinker, an Alox Harvester, Day Packer, or just a Classic. I even like the cutlery, and my kitchen is full of it, and my tackle box carries my fillet knife!

I also have an interest in other multitools and Swiss Army type knives, and perhaps I'll build a collection. I'm getting to that age of needing to collect things. Which is funny, considering I buy and sell antiques/collectibles for a living. I tend to buy to sell, not keep! Haven't yet found a good keeper at yard sales or flea markets, though. I can find all kinds of other goodies, but never a good ol' SAK or Wenger.

Right now, my "white whale" as it were is something that Victorinox decided to take out of production: An ALOX Minichamp. I can't find a new one anywhere. Maybe y'all can help in my quest?
