I use a CountyComm delrin battery locker. Very dense plastic, completely waterproof and great for keychain carry. I didn't buy it directly from CountyComm - I heard their service is terrible. It was someone reselling them - can't remember who, but there are a number of places to get them.

These any good? http://ant-supplies.co.uk/Pages/KeychainWaterproofCapsules.aspx Probably a good idea to drop a bit of foam in one end to insulate the aluminium from the terminal and stop the battery from rattling.
Just let me know if you end up needing it.

Why not use a second AAA light? I carry my Fenix LD02 and a Thrunite Tis or 4/7s Preon. I'll have a look and see if I have some Maglights AAA incan sitting around. I can send one your way. BTW I do like the little storage set up. I was just throwing something else out there.
Just checked www.survivaldepot.co.uk - they do have the maratac delrin battery cases (aaa and CR123). Search for countycomm...

Looked high and low and no Solitares I may have gifted them away. I run across them at the flea markets so I'll snag one or 3 when I do.
