That was a fun game! down 0-6 in the third, terrible new Cubs pitcher (Brian Matusz) gave up 3 man-on-base home runs in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd! :facepalm: (the BUM!) but the Cubbies rallied throughout the game and in the bottom of the 9th tied the game up and win it in the 12th :D

Used all the pitchers up and even put Wood in the center field after he pitched to bring him back later, and he made a great outfield catch to boot :tu:

Probably the best game this season (up there with the first Natonal games)  :tu:

I flipped back and forth watching the Cubs come back.  I watched the entire 12 inning.  The double by Hayward (a former Atlanta Brave) and his advance to 3rd and then coming home on the bunt.  Fantastic baseball!

Hayward may be breaking out of his doldrums.  I hope so.  I enjoyed watching him as a Brave so I can't blame him for poor management decisions in  Atlanta.  I'm still angry with Ted Turner for selling his empire to Time Warner.  :-[

Mets win! :D 10-6, it did get interesting at times, especially in the 9th when the Carfinaks had two HR's......

I haven't tried it yet, but I believe I can invert the Braves won loss record in a magic number calculator and calculate their chances at finishing last in MLB.  Last means first in the next draft.   :facepalm:

Yea!  Unfortunately we aren't even in last place at this time. The Twins are in the MLB cellar by one game.
