We had a great time at the Gurkha museum yesterday,I took a few pics of the Khukuri they had on display,including tuljung gurungs kukri that I just got a tribute knife made. :salute:

It's called a cho, there are many ideas too it including religious,stop blood,I prefer that it's too strengthen the blade as thicker at that point 👍

On a side note, that's interesting: çakmak in turkish means a lighter or a steel for hitting a flint stone. Most people in their 50s and up here probably would know what I'd be talking about if I asked them for a tsakmaki.  :)
