Top marks for presentation, Sneider!

My so-called "collection" is really small compared to most everyone here, so anything that isn't hanging off my hip is just flopping around my desk.

EDC: SwissChamp, Swisstool X, Zippo, Mini Maglite, all on my belt. I'm one more sheath away from becoming Batman.

Outstanding.  That's a great display.  I like how the upper shelves are more steeply angled than the lower ones, that's really nicely designed.

Okay I see there are good ideas for really big SAK Collections  :D
But currently I have enough space in my apartment.  ::)

I store my SAK so:

In cigar boxes:

Self made trays:

showcases:

But I'm not really lucky with these solutions.
I'm looking for a storage system that
combines practical storage and good, clear presentation.

I'm curious how the big collectors, those have
thousands of knives, store their collection.  :pok:

That looks superb . Well done ,

I probably have the smallest collection on the forum. Every one of my MTs fits in a Plano tacklebox like this one;

The top part is full of sheaths.

Two fishing tackle boxes. Knives, SAKs, and multitools in EDC rotation go into a '50s small one-foot ish Western Auto Revelation steel box.   Those in the collection go into a much larger plastic Plano box.  Poorly built knives (most of these Chinese and Pakistani), fake SAKs, and multis that I don't know why I can't get myself to throw out go into a cheap tiny Walmart John Deere toolbox.

I like this thread because I now realize I don't have a problem. my tiny collection can fit on one shelf of some of these, and still have room for my kershaw knifes on it also.

I sure admire the big collections and displays, but sometimes I remember how nice it was to carry an Explorer every day and have only 3 or 4 other options. Crazy talk I know...  :ahhh

My oldest just brought home a box he made for me to store the (growing!) collection in.  He made it as his senior year woodshop final project.  I love it!  It just came home minutes ago, so I haven't even had time to put my knives in :ahhh :ahhh
