Hawaii Five-O

Not sure what the episode is about, because I was flipping through the channels, but one of the good guys was given a Boker or US-made camp knife in the heat of deciding on a course of action.  To lighten the mood, he said he'd be ok because he "has a corkscrew, a toothpick, and some scissors," which that model lacks. >.> I got a picture of it, but I'll have to upload it tomorrow when I can connect to the computer.

Episode is "Malama Ka Po'e," or Care for One's People.

Given the time period (and this is the original, and not the modern CBS remake?), it could also be an old Ulster Boy Scout knife, which also had a circular shield, but with the Boy Scout Fleur-Di-Lis instead of Boker's Tree Brand.

With inflation, some models (like the Huntsman) would be more expensive than they are today--I remember reading in an old catalog and had a 1950s or '60s price on the Huntsman that would be equivalent to over 100 dollars today. As a result, they probably tried to pass of the (relatively) less expensive Ulster or Boker as an SAK.

I think it's a copy of a Camilius Boy Scout knife.
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

I might be crazy but it's kept me from going insane- Waylon Jennings
