No point hitting wire if you can avoid it.

Hopefully you enjoyed the pics more than I enjoyed having to trash the chain with the dirt and wire.

Thanks Nate.
Haven't had a good look at the chain yet but it should clean up okay.
I just swapped it out and keep cutting stuff.

I am gonna have to get me a Stihl chainsaw someday :dd: We use the Stihl cut-off saws at work and they never fail us and start year round no matter how hot or cold it gets  Thanks for the pics Zman :tu: Hope the chain didn't take to much abuse from the wire :( Glad you had another so you could keep working

They are good but seem to run at a higher speed than a Stihl and seem to wear out a little faster than a Stihl :D Plus the cut-off saws are heavier than a Stihl :ahhh

They certainly help keep things tidy in the truck. I use them for work, fishing, surfing, snowboarding, camping etc etc. And they're cheap.   :tu:   :tu:

The handles dig in a bit when heavy though. And not quite long enough for my chainsaw - maybe I will cut a slot for the bar....
We used to use fish bins when I was in Kaikoura.

Glad to see you've had safety equipment there
Solving problems you didn't know you had in the most obscure way possible

"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob
