Smallest MT with reamer?
on: April 27, 2016, 09:47:24 AM
Is it the LM P4?
Any small SAKs with a reamer on?
Or maybe something from Gerber?

Is it an in-line awl you're after RP? The P4 has an awl and is small, but I think the best of the lot is the in-line awl on the 93mm alox models: SI, Soldier, Farmer etc.

It's so good I've replaced the small blade on two of my 91mm SAK's with them.

Hope this is of some help.

Yeah, I'm not sure I'd call the one on the Squirt a reamer anyway as it's not properly sharp.  Definitely more of an awl I'd say.  However if that's what you are OK with then I'm struggling to think of a smaller MT than that.  There might be an older Wenger/Victorinox Delemont 65mm with an awl/reamer, but I'd have to check.

Edit - I was right, there is the Pocket Tool Chest.  No idea what it's like but it is there.

Thinking about it, it'll almost certainly be listed for sale as the Evo 88.

Yeah, I've got a Farmer, and it's probably the best bet, not to mention one of the best reamers around.

I've seen your Pikachu.
It's just sweet.

No 91mm factory models with in-line reamer.  :-\

Thanks RP!

It's not a difficult mod to do - it only requires replacing one pin and mostly it will just drop straight in. I don't have any speSmurfpillst tools - just a drill a file and a peen hammer I got from Sparkie. The last one I did took about 45 minutes altogether.

No idea.  Sorry. :-\  If no-one else chimes in here you might be better off asking about it in the Swiss forum.

One of the best SAKs here. Great combination of tools, scale choice and doing the mods himself make it so cool.
