on: May 09, 2016, 08:13:49 PM
I have broken my much loved and used Kershaw A100 and am looking for a replacement or another broken one or I have seen cheap copies and one of those may supply the broken part. Any help/info much appreciated.

Hey! there is an A100 on Flebay right now going for 47 bucks.  The auction has 36 minutes left so you might be able to snag a replacement quite reasonably.  Good luck!

Thanks Matt for info, that one is broken in the same place as mine!!! Also I'm in the UK, so shipping is a problem from States. Still, it went for $47.00, so mine may be worth a bob or two.

What is exactly broken on yours?
I picked a busted A100 off eBay a few months back. Can't decide to repair or move on
I don't claim to know it all, but what I do know is right.

Pictures would help a lot.

What part is broken? Kershaw has really good customer service.
If I remember correctly, wait, what was I saying?

Do you think they'd repair mine if I sent it in Steve?
Blade is snapped and fastner is missing out of the plier linkage.

They are long since out of production, and I doubt very much they would be able to repair it.  It's worth a shot, or at the very least, worth sending an email or making a phone call.

Thanks for all the replies guys.
I have contact Kershaw but they have been bought out by a Japanese company I think who are not willing to help out.
The pic is from E-bay in the US a few days ago, broken in the same way as mine, seems a common fault, the pliers heads are cast.
Tosh I would be very interested in your A100.

I kind of wonder if the head could be welded back together.

I doubt it, the head is cast and this type of break seems to be common on Kershaw.
