SOG Reactor owners club
on: May 19, 2016, 08:11:29 PM
The SOG subforum is missing a few clubs these days since they have been putting out new multitool offerings recently. Let us correct that :salute: So, who's in?

I want to join this club. I bought one from REI. It's nice but not worth $60. So I'll get one when they come down some. Surprised no one else has one yet

Congrats, Demel and welcome to the club. Just remember that it's not a PowerLock ;)

That's why I wanted it. Because I carry so much at work usually when I'm off or weekends I go as light as possible. This guy is almost invisible in your pocket. Yesterday I carried it with the Crosscut on my keys. Very light. Almost a better combo than the skeletool and style....almost

Received this on my birthday (June 10th) as well, my first sog.  It will take a little bit to get used to but I'm starting to really like it. It's not perfect but it sure is fun and looks sweet.  Did you guys have any issues with the blade having a stiff opening when first received? Gonna oil it up good today and see if it helps any.

The first one I bought did have a stiff blade, but the one I have now is good. Break it in a little and I'm sure it will loosen up.

Quick question, how would you guys describe the blade shape on the Reactor? Clip Point?

Essentially it's a drop point

Lol, they have some unconventional uses for some of those tools. Seems like there might be a better option for cutting hard wire.
May it be as the Pattern has chosen.

Got this tool few days ago. I have to say that it isn't as good as Skeletool CX that I gifted away. Then again its half the price and looks really good. After getting the blade a bit sharper its ok. I just dont like the ergos at all and the pliers feel really weak on the bit holder side.

But I will give it a chance.
