Thats why you get a double bit axe...one good side for the tree, the other for the stump and roots.
  :viking:
Good point...but I have trouble wit full size axes, me!!

Do I love EM?? HELL YES!! I'd love a full size CS Viking axe...but I have CP, so it's hard to balance with the 5 pound Canadian style crutches a hangin off my arms I redesigned and helped my blacksmith build for martial arts training.

That's why I like big Khukuris and saws that I can manage with one hand.

The CSSF Shovel isn't much of a problem to swing!

We went on a three days camping trip early October, the only folder I had with me was the Rajah!! and I done the following tasks with it:

Clearing bush to set up tent
Hammering tent stakes.
Opening food packages
Slicing up tomato and other vegetables
Skinning and prepping a pork shoulder
Chopping down a small dead tree for firewood.
Sharpening up sticks for marshmallows
Cutting and cleaning fish
Slicing up watermelon and other fruits
Scaring some wild turkeys away.

At the end, to entertain friends and family, It slashed three water bottles in half with one swing.
EDC: Black Talon, Black Cat, Spirit, LD02

yup, has to be held to be felt. Incredible chopper and gardening tool, great companion to the pruners!

But never lose respect to that one! (pics from Oct 26th last year...)

I need to drag out my CS stuff and post it, but everything I photo on dis IPod is UPSIDE DOWN on my screen.

Is that normal??

And besides...it would hijack the thread, and Kampfer would hate me for that

Aesthetically those nuts and cable ties just don't do it for me.

Practically any occasion where I might need to deploy a knife quickly I'll likely do better breaking off a chair leg and using that.....

Breaking off a chair leg while tangled up in parachute riggings may not be possible, or effective against paracord !!

XL VOYAGER CLIPPOINT CLASSIC SERRATED?? I HAVE THE PE...cool!!

No, mate, those big ones are the X2 Voyagers (6 inch blade)

These came in both PE and SE, these here

The XL Voyagers (5 inch blade) came in both versions too, but I  only have the serrated one, the one you have (PE XL Voyager) is the only one missing in my collection!  :pok:

+1 on that
Now they are expensive collectibles, hard to find

Older models were much prettier (specially the Tanto blades) and better, IMO, ahead of their time. Should've stocked up!

Do you have the Lansky Dog Bone pocket sharpener for CS serrated knives? Damn thing comes in handy as all get out when I need to true up my old K5 lightweight kitchen knife.

That's kind of why I prefer PE. The first serrated knife that I ever shaved my arm with was a CS Hai Hacho...it brought blood and hair...!!
