Got bit playing pocket pool

It wasn’t my folder.  It wasn’t old Mr. Pinchy.  And I didn’t even have the blade out.  I don’t recall what I was going in my pocket for, but I was in a seated position, Swiss Champ clipped inside my left pocket with a P7.  Insert my left hand and get something stuck between my nail and the finger.  That hurts!  I used the pull out method immediately, and blood is starting to run.  Apply pressure and the bleeding quickly subsided, but the pain (now discomfort) is still present.  Best I can figure, somehow my nail got between the two layers of the small split ring.

How dumb you gotta be to get cut by a knife that’s not even open??? :oops:

If I would get one cent for every bit like this...  I would have two cents. Just my two cents.

First happened with Opinel knife. Closed, but it scratched with the lock ring corner.

Other was Gerber FliK with lanyard ring out.

:D that's why I just wear full plate armor throughout the day.....
There's no such thing as "Too pretty to carry".  There's only "Too pretty NOT to carry"...... >:D
