Don't know if this is the right place for this. Found this today, great idea for carrying a few zip-ties on your EDC.

I may use that storage method, but for my zip-tie needs I normally just put a handful in a half size plastic bag and roll it up. Works fine for my needs. I would say his method would probably be good if I needed to carry some in a back pocket or in somewhere flat.  :tu:

I have carried zip ties in my  tool box this way at least 30 years.  From bag to donor tie and in the tray.
Had helper last summer (23 yrs) who I asked to go to the truck and grab a clip for a couple ties.  30 minutes later found him trying to back one off, I showed how to clip the end remove, he said wow, never would have...  And  I believed him.

Thanks for sharing, it is a good idea, I was shown it by refrigerator tech at a ice cream plant, he used large ties for coolant wraps.

You're just not using enough duct tape.

i just throw them on the lift as that's where they always end up...scattered..
or just dump them randomly in the bottom of your tool bag
