If I remember correctly, the pivot is the same as the Rebar in that regard. It's been a bit since I last had a Wave open.

go Blast/Wave
Will surge outter scissors drop into the wave body? Or too big?

I'm planning out my first big modding, and was wondering if anyone has swapped the OG Wave scissors into the new Wave? I know I will have to work out a locking tab notch, and reverse the order of the tools in the handle, but is there anything too major in doing this that I haven't seen yet? I think the old style scissors are thinner than the new ones...If it matters, I also intend to give the new Wave pliers from a Rebar....

I enjoy pocket carrying mine with a Wave clip If we all modded our tools the same, Leatherman could just make it a standard model and charge twice as much for it
As I remember, the washer goes in between the body of the tool and the implement (saw, file, or blade.) I can try to check tonight to make sure.
Hope you can get the problem sorted put kaput

I can try to check tonight to make sure. There's two washers per tool. So on both sides. Right. But why the blade play and variance? I can't tighten the bolts tighter, but everything's loose?I know there were a couple threads with people swapping out the outter tools somewhere... seems someone would have ran into this issue here?

Bump for some help from the pros! I'm sure it's something simple, as nothing has changed...
