Did the way pictures post change?

Something is different with the way pictures are posting. Now they seem to post at the larger size with no option to click from the smaller picture to the larger one. Did some thing change ? It became very apparent on the Alox Forever thread where there is a huge picture.

Right, looks like the image resize has dropped out.
Whoey is getting all technical behind the curtain atm but it should be back to normal soon.
Thanks for the heads up and if anyone notices anything else different like this please let us know about it.

Pay no attention to the hairy man behind the curtain.... he isn't doing anything at all....  :pok:

But yes, his fiddling is responsible for any oddities you may see pop up.  You'll see what it's all about very soon.  Until then, forget you saw anything!  :P

Yeah, I removed a link cause the picture was horrendously large, and I changed it to an attachment. Thought was just me.

Ok so it's not me, after the kid showed me that there was a way I could post rather then only using photo bucket, things were great except the pics would post like sideways or upside down, but now their saying their too big??

When I post pictures, from my iPhone. The file is "too large". So I take a screenshot of the picture and then post that lower resolution photo... Kinda crappy as it really downgrades the quality but it's the easiest way I've found.

There are image resizing apps out there. Just search "image resizer" in the app store, and pick the best rated one. That will let you keep more of the quality, but in a smaller image.

You can also just take the photo at a lower initial resolution too.  I don't have an iPhone but I assume it allows you to change the size of photos when you take them?

I don't know if there is a version for iOS but I use an app called AVG Image Shrinker to reduce photos for email, forum, FB etc.  It saves a lot of mobile bandwidth if you upload a lot of photos.
