Do you think he went tinker instead of spartan as the corkscrew would have been a pain to make?

It is a rather fun thing to have, I'll agree.
I wonder if he carved it with an actual SAK.  :salute:

Taken from the description of his ebay posting...

This wooden sculpture was created by a local artist in Mass. All wooden blades are movable, including toothpick! I had this work hanging in my billiard room for a few years. Total conversation art. Every guest that came through my home made comments about it. With regret I am selling. Moving to a new home with less space. Priced to sell!

Pretty neat.  I'm always skeptical when I read/hear people express the reason for selling small items like this is "moving to a place with less space" .  Items like these take up THAT MUCH SPACE?  Not to bash the seller but why only ONE pic?  This item begs to be photographed.

At over a metre tall it is pretty big.  And it's a bit of a man-cave type item isn't it.  I can imagine the seller's other half not wanting it in the dining room if their new place doesn't have a billiard room :)

The arrangement I have is that the rec room basement and garage arw mine to arrange as needed and the uper floor of the house is hers.  Works ok since all the stuff I care about is in the basement and I don't give a fart about what color the new fridge blender picture frame etc is.

It would be a fun project to build one of aluminum.  The bed on my mill is 14 inch so that would be the largest one I could do.  Could even anodize the scales.  If I was ever going got blade it would make a good sign.
