Some iPad help please?
on: July 25, 2016, 09:56:34 AM
My Bitter Pill is a iPad mini(1st gen) and has served me well...well,I havnt hit it with a hammer yet.

Problem is I'm running out of memory on it. It's not the number of apps,or an excess of photos, but I've a ton of 'documents'. Any least this is what I'm told when I look at memory usage when I hook the iPad up to iTunes on my netbook.

I'm guessing these are files I've downloaded via my iCloud email, either spreadsheets relating to my work,or music 'demos' from a mate.

My question is,how do I delete them?

Can you see the files on iTunes when you connect the iPad to your computer?

I don't have an apple device, but is ccleaner available in the app store for ipads?  I use that on all my pc's and android devices for finding all the files like that.

Open Settings, General, Storage & iCloud Usage and see how much space is available. You can also select Manage Storage to see which apps are using the space. Then open the iTunes Store app, go to Movies, pick a large HD movie (like Batman vs. Superman) that is larger than the available free space, then click the rent button, confirm and wait. You will get an error message about not enough storage. As long as you don't have enough space, you won't be charged for the rental. If however you do have enough space, enjoy the movie! At the same time your rental fails, your device will have cleaned up a bunch of space in an attempt to make room for your rental. Check the available space again, and repeat the attempted rental process until it no longer frees up space (or you have enough to download the movie).
I EDC'd a SAK before MacGyver did...
