Can you please ID my Gerber multitool?

I think I got this from one of my relatives at least 10 years back. I think it's an old MP600. What do you think?

First off, welcome to the forum. :cheers: What you have there is a Gerber Multiplier, the predecessor to the MP600.  We call it Mr. Pinchy around here, because when using them there's always a good chance of getting your palm pinched. :ahhh I'm not all that up on specific dating of these, but I'm sure someone who is will be along. :tu:
There's no such thing as "Too pretty to carry".  There's only "Too pretty NOT to carry"...... >:D

jd nailed it   :tu:  That's what I call a version 5 (the very first version to have needle nose pliers)

You know, I did actually reply to this thread and say "yup that's an MP600", before quickly doubting myself and deleting my reply......

I may have to hand my MT.o pin back in as I've forgotten so much stuff, lol.

I used to come here a lot.
