Tool display
on: July 28, 2016, 07:00:05 PM
I did a search on google and found some interesting MT displays that are also functional. Do folks have any ideas on how to display your MTs that also is a usable storage?

  Like you, I currently have mine in two plastic boxes as well. Personally, I prefer to have a wooden tool chest, with many narrow drawers (with plastic (not felt) lining) to keep the tools, and one or two larger drawers for sheaths. Currently, most of my tools are in their own sheaths to conserve space.

I keep mine in a couple of drawers of an old Craftsman tool box that I use for all my EDC stuff.

I'll try to remember to snag some pics tonight.

Hi. I found a class display cabinet with glass shelves. Got my hands on some crazy strong as magnets to use as bases and they hold or hand LMs under the shelves to double up on space. There is a small cupboard in the base for the pouches.
Easy to display and store.
Yes , there is one SAK -sentimental present from Switzerland which is also where I bought my first LM Micra in 1997

I did remember to take these pics, I just forgot to upload them and share them.  :twak:

So here's how I store most of my EDC stuff.

I just put them in a cardboard box, covered, so as to be able to pick one quickly for the day before leaving the house.

I EDC my EDC, have tools spread around the houses and cars and the rest are in a couple of drawers (1 full and some tin boxes behind my "good" suit shirts, but don't tell my wife).
I use screened furniture for my minerals, toy soldiers and thimbles collections (the later were presents to my wife, please, don't be sarcastic guys).
