Pretty good NiMH charger

I just picked up a Sony BC-CS2a charger, it has two bays for either AA or AAA size NiMH cells, has smart termination, and independent channels!

But of course if you buy it from sony it'll run you $65, from ebay however they are $10.5 shipped.

I have a pair of energizer rechargeable on it and the charger auto terminated when charge complete. And because it's independent channel it can charge 1 cell at a time.

I've got an ansmann energy 8.  Same kind of deal.  I really like the fact I don't have to worry about keeping batteries paired up or wondering which batteries have what level of charge.  My rechargeables never lasted like they should, it was just from poor management, so to speak.  It wasn't the cheapest charger on the market by a long shot but I wish I'd bought it along time ago.

Combine that with modern low self discharge NiMH cells and its rare I have to buy alkalines.
