How to sand pivot holes in tools/springs for SAK mods?

So, I recently built my first mod from scratch and I'm not happy at all with the action and snap on the tools. The springs/tools seem to be grinding on the pivots. What's the best way to smooth out the holes to improve this?

What material are the pivots made of? Did you enlarge the pivot holes, or leave them the stock width?

Before you do anything else, I suggest you clean the knife with a solvent like WD-40, and wipe it clean. Then, lubricate with a decent oil, like 3-in-1, or mineral oil. That might clear up any issue  you are having.

I enlarged the holes to 1/8" using a carbide bit and burr. The pivots are made of stainless steel.

I tried lubricating with a silicone lubricant.

You used a burr, which is good. It sounds like you are experiencing galling, which causes resistance when similar metals slide past each other. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable than myself will come around to help you solve this problem.

Try oil , silicone isn't the best lubricant for this type of thing.

Unbelievable. I usually use mineral oil on my tools, but I was out, so I thought that the silicone oil would work well especially since it has a high viscosity. I was wrong. I just went into the kitchen and dumped some olive oil in there and everything is smooth.
