the beacons have been lit and styx shall answer the call

as you might notice this is extremely light. going very minimalist. well normally there would be a light but since i've killed yet another one, it simply ain't there
(Image removed from quote.)

i'll nominate Grathr and Gareth

Challenge accepted, though answered very slowly. :-[

I'm going very light and minimalist ATM, with the Minichamp providing for a lot of my daily needs.  I do have a multi near to hand though, just not in my pockets.

I nominate pietervn and Sea Monster.

I am here to be a badge-enabler for Steinar  ;)

[...]

If I does not hurt Steinar's badge chances I would prefer to abstain from challenging others at this time. If I start collecting badges and taking wierd pictures during the daytime my better half will surely have me committed (sooner than otherwise)  :twak:

Cheers :drink:

 A common problem on MT.o. Most of us have very accepting SO, I guess it sort of self-fulfilling... :D

Sorry for the late reply but pretty sure I'm within 24 hours.

Kind of a crazy day guys. I got a 3 SAK lot in the mail, then I went to my sisters' house to help her clean her gecko enclosure, which I noticed was getting a little filthy when I was over there a couple days ago feeding her rabbits (again carrying a Compact) I just took most of what's in the picture minus the hairbrush. Had the Compact on a neck lanyard. I went home to feed my cat and the feral cat that lives in the yard. Then I spent a few hours resizing brass to 2.25mm. I got in the shower and when I got out there was a message, my friend's wife..saying he's in the hospital and the doctor told her to call family and friends.

So I grabbed a few things really quick and jumped in my car to drive from San Diego to Northridge, about 2.5 hours drive.  Luckily I had filled up the tank earlier. Turns out he has a brain tumor and is undergoing surgery tomorrow....and now I'm back at their house ny myself feeding their cat and again in the morning before returning to the hospital. So my pockets didn't have my usual assortment, but its a good indicator of what I grab in a hurry. Forgot a wall charger for my phone (not pictured since it's my camera)

I dont mean to stear this thread all serious and heavy...but I do wanna say that I find comfort having a SAK along. There's nothing I'm gonna do with it that's really gonna help anybody...but its like a security blanket...for some they might have a lucky charm, prayer beads, rosary, whatever type of item from their culture...I really don't identify with any of that personally, for me a SAK is a source of comfort even if it just stays in the pocket...sounds weird Im sure. ..its like a special rock or coin you can reach down and feel, kind of calming.

Good luck on the challenge all...nobody else nominate me tho since I probably wont be able to post anything tomorrow.

I got a message saying I'd been nominated to respond to a challenge?

I do not have a camera just now, but I'll see what I can do :)

24 hours? You're all too hasty.

Here ya go Colt1911,

Sorry I missed your challenge.

Same stuff in the sheaths as last time.  Wave with bit cards, PW2, LM extender.  Leather sheath has my Champion.
The light is a SS Worm AAA.  Knife is Kershaw Dimension.  I got that tactical pen recently so I carried it today, the brand is Humvee.  It was a $1 so yes I had to get it.  Missing are my wallet Wenger, Watch G7700, Phone which is my camera
