Hey that looks smart.  I like the blunted plier and blade.

Saw this when it was first announced.  I can't wait for it to come out. It fixes everything I dislike about the Skeletool.   Which is: Weak pliers, Leatherman's flat bits (not normal 1/4), and no saw.   Chances are, I'll leave the blade off in favor of the saw, but I'm sure that Havalon scalpel blade is sharper than anything I can do on a whetstone.

Only problem I have are those cutters, they're made for working with bow strings, not everyday use on hard and electrical wire.

Is Havalon's stuff made in the USA?

Did you have a Skeletool fail? I would like to hear details on that.

I love seeing nice tools enter the realm, challenging the big MT brands.
Love the bit storage and the replaceable blade.
Mayhaps it'll fit on LM tools?  ::)

Does it use proprietary blades? That seems like it would limit its use since I expect they would be ridiculously expensive here in Sweden. Would be really nice with a smaller, around Juice size, model with standard scalpel holder. Perhaps using smaller bits like the CyberTool? Would be a great EDC for many I believe.

I think this has come up before.

I'm not sure what my comments were then, but today I find myself well disposed towards the idea.

I mean I'll probably never actually see one, but at least I can appreciate that they exist.

No., but I just don't trust that the pliers are thinner than even a PST.

It seems weird to have the bit located where you think it would be used, only to have to take it off and put it somewhere else to drive it. Might have trouble in restricted spaces too. Kinda seems like it's only stored there because the Skele's is.

EDIT: Oops, I was looking at another tool and got them mixed up - maybe a SOG?

But man... what a ripoff!

I like it. It looks like they addressed the ergonomic issues with the Skeletool. Hopefully the quality of the tool is up to snuff
