I feel the same about leather. Something primal about the material.
Do you use Lexol for cleaning/crack prevention, or something different.??I gravitate toward the heaviest leather I can get in belts, sheathes and the like as well!

I actually used some paste wax I had from some boots I bought a long time ago. The container is old so the name is no longer visible. I've been wanting to try SNO SEAL or Obenaufs LP for my boots and leather goods.
And finish it off with a good wax called Carnauba cream from Fiebing's. Smear on thin and let it airdry. And rub off with nice soft "old towel".

The nice thing about leather is how it ages and with quality leather the ability to slow that aging process with protectants.
