ATTENTION Cyclists!!!

I just got one of the Chrome messenger bags. So far, I can't complain. Far more comfortable than I thought, plus, you can really HAUL THE GOODS with it!!!

PS- when riding on Rt.70 & Kings Highway, in Cherry Hill NJ, its reflectivity can only HELP

Nice. The stealth reflectives are very cool - I've got a Timbuk2 with some on it. I had one of the Chrome bags, but sold it as I decided that I don't like messengers for riding with - too hot and sweaty - but very practical if you can put up with that.

I must confess, you're right about the sweating. But alas, that is the shortcoming common among any of these heavy nylon bags(regardless of brand)

That's a really cool bag. Lately I have been using a sling bag I got at Mountain Equipment Co-op or a Maxpedition Sitka. Yeah, the area under the strap gets a bit sweaty but that's what a washing machine is for.

Messenger bags give me backache and a sweaty back in summer, would much rather use panniers! You can carry a shedload of stuff and not even feel the weight, except in your legs on hills.
