Thanks
F&F on this one is as good as you could expect from a production knife. The main clip opens smoother than my zebra wood model, it's tang is not quite as smooth as it could be.
Queen seems to a good job on the railsplitter series.

I might have to mosey along and have a look at them.... :D

Sorry I've not been around in this thread much gents.  I've been on a SAK carrying kick lately and I rarely carry both a 91mm and a trad pocket knife.   You lot have been more than carrying the torch for trad knives though, lovely stuff.

Anyway, I put my A.Wright Sheepsfoot in my pocket last night and don't regret it. 8)

I've got the knife working already today. I'm not home so it didn't get cleaned it up for the pic.

Great great knife there Gman. And great pic!

This knife really plays to my sensibilities. I am really attracted to the handle imparticular. The wood, the big rounded edges etc. It reminds me of the navy knife but without such a severe blade shape, and without the logo on the blade (huge plus). Do they make that knife with a drop point or any other blade shape too?

Great knife man!!  :tu: :salute:

I should add that they are "working" standard knives in terms of fit and finish.  If gaps in the backspring and scales are going to bother you then don't buy.  The backsprings are like a bear-trap;  fantastic at keeping the blade open, a nightmare if you don't have tough fingernails.
