I do like that!!!

Did you just drill a hole through for the screw and nut? Is that what holds the file and saw in place? And, is that enough for a decent amount of torque?

My Signal should be here this week still, if Mr. Postman hurries on his little Honda CT110  ;)

I have a few ideas on what to do with the Signal. The Surge Blade Exchanger was one of the swaps I was going to test.

Will one of these headless grub screws work too, or do you need the head to stop the screw from going completely through the BE?

Cheers,

Pete

Great work! You actually have me interested in one of these now. What type of modifications were needed to get the S30v blade on the signal?

As far as I know it is a straight swap. I have not done it... yet.

The standard blade is not bad at all. I was under some preconceived ideas that it may not be what I want, but it is growing on me. I'm doing a month challenge with the Signal, (http://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,69091.0.html) and will most likely keep the blade for now. I am keen to do a swap over to the Wave/Charge PE blade at some stage. I did test the file / saw swap and that was pretty staight forward.

I do like the tool so far.

Cheers,

Pete

Thanks for the heads up. I was asking because I have an extra charge AL blade lying around and this could be the perfect use for it. Really leaning towards getting one now.

I don't have an extra blade lying around, but might take one out from my Charge to test. If I like that I'll get one from Loki. I think BO tools will look cool in it.  ;)

He He He,

They have an official posti bike Grand Prix in Oz. It was last weekend in a town called Singleton. Sadly I had to miss it, but the town is not far from where I live.

Check it out: http://www.cessnockmotorcycleclub.com.au/gallery/

Fixed it for you.

It's actually a lovely part of the country, for anyone wondering, but a bit of a detour off the main highways, so you have to want to go there to get there

Anyway, back to your signal chatter....

As the banjo starts playing...

It is a very nice part of Oz. I often go through there on my rides. But then, there are MANY nice parts in Oz, just a pity they are so far from me... I might just take the Signal there for a visit, a short one that is!!!
