gerber splice has useless scissors, what can I do

hey there:)

I bought the thing 5 years ago , never used it not even once

the scissors are shameful
they cant cut, i tried to sharpen them but without any success

what do you think i can do? can I change the scissors with something else?  sharpen it in a different way?

Kareem, do you know why they're not cutting properly? Is the grind wrong? Are the blades not "rubbing" properly? They might need crinking a bit
