The XTi and Ti were the original two, and the XTi was basically the ALX but in Titanium while the Ti was more like the AL. The XTi and Ti were discontinued so that Leatherman could expand the line with the aluminum versions (AL and ALX) and the new, higher priced TTi in titanium.
