Here's my new EDC, a Yeoman with wood saw and Camper scale mod (thank you GigaHz):
Wood Saw
Main Blade
Combo Tool
Scissors
Magnifying lens
Corkscrew
mini screwdriver
small screwdriver
inline Phillips
parcel hook with nail file
toothpick
tweezers
pen
all in just 4 layers
Rest in peace ColoSwiss, you will always be remembered.

I'd say that's about as close to the ideal EDC as you'll ever find.  I know it would find a great home here if you ever tire of it! :gimme:

That doesn't look very thick at all!  From your pics I'd say Huntsman thick?
Yes, I just put it next to my Huntsman and this mod of mine sits just a smidge taller.  Looking at them at a glance I wouldn't know which was which.

Noted, it really is feature packed in a relatively small size.  My ideal EDC is always 3 layers, but I'll deal with the added layer for all the benefit.

A friend also liked my Yeoman WS and asked "what do you call a Yeoman with wood saw and metal file?"

As it turns out, he built this

I suggested Yeoman Cutmaster... he liked it and the name stuck....

If following the convention started by creations such as the "Yeoman Mechanic", maybe "Yeoman Ranger", seeing as it has a similar toolset?

Although by that logic the Yeoman would be a Super Scientist and with Pliers a Deluxe Scientist...

I'll put this into the mix... A Yeoman would be a Scientist X... A Scientist X with pliers would be a Deluxe Scientist X...

If I do get to think of building my own Yeoman with wood saw and metal file, I would probably dub it the Master Yeoman since it has almost similar tools mix as the Master Craftsman.

Although I think the "X" terminololgy as only be used for the alox models, otherwise you'd have a "Super Pioneer" instead of Pionner X or a "Tinker X" instead of Super Tinker...

As for Master Yeoman - has a nice sound to it, though what differentiates a Master Craftsman from a Ranger is that the former has the backside Phillips, whereas the latter has the corkscrew - that's why I was thinking "Yeoman Ranger"...

Don't worry about the derail, it was fun. CR doesn't make multi-tools which is why I always come back to Swiss Army Knives.

SAK Rules...

SAK was my first ever knife.  I've collected and/or purchased various other makers/manufacturers since, but I'm always loyal to my first love, the SAK.

Thanks OG.
The second one was modded by knife maker Tom Mayo.  The third one in was held by Chris Reeve himself at a knife show and he told me he remembered making that scale.
