This is why we do it The Signal does not get a lot of love around here and there are many parts about it, I dislike. The plastic parts, the semi serrated blade... but appart from thatI'm surprised to say, but the Signal is my new favorite Leatherman. Ok, it's a tie with the Charge. Here is a list of functions I like- The frame locks together- Small hammer. We all have mis-used something to do some light hammering, have we not. The hammer of the Signal (and the Mut) is a rather unique offering. I prefer the hammer part of the Mut, but that one has even more tools I have no use for.- Apart from the serration, the blade is very nice- The frame might be ugly, but it is far more comfortable in my hands than the Wave. No sharp corners / edges.So...Dear Leatherman, please give us Wave 3.0 based on the Signal with 4 long tools (blade holder, PE blade, pry-bar, ) and the hammer. And make it a deep carry pocket clip.
This is why we do it

Just a small update, comparison of the Signal blade to the Wave blade, really dig the shape but not the serration.
I like the shape but I don't like partial serrations

They seem to be aimed at the mass market, which I guess makes sense for a company wanting to sell a bunch of MTs.
Today it was a light job for the Signal. Get it
Typical Swiss morning... preparing hot Chocolate We got a new "beer" store in town, they also have tons of funky soft-drinks. So, the signal got to open a Jarritos Guava, very delicious I might add.

That hammer feature is something they need to try and put on more MTs I really it
Was at a children's birthday party today. Of course scissors were needed, so out came the Spirit... sorry Signal, today you had to sit on the sidelines.
