Which SAK would you gift Tim Leatherman?
on: January 05, 2017, 12:37:49 PM
I'm sure that Tim Leatherman would retire peacefully if someone gifted him a SAK. Which SAK (from your own collection) would you gift him?
My choice for him would be  my Eco-Spartan because it's the only one I don't regularly use. After all, he's Tim Leatherman he can afford whatever SAK he likes, but here he is mooching off of me! The nerve!

I would never give him a SAK. He's welcome to have my Micra though. And I want my money back.

I've not come across a SAK with enough quality issues to get him back for all the quality issues he gave us

Any 91mm with the superior Vic can opener and scissors, haven't seen a LM tool with anything close to these yet.  :salute:

Gosh, what to give the man whose Wingman bust several of my fingernails?
Maybe a Spirit with all the blades welded shut, for that "Leatherman feeling".
Or simply a free manicure... cos his fingers must be bloody stumps by now, like latex digits made by the SFX people on "The Walking Dead".

Which? The most functionally deficient I can think of are the 108s with the obese woodsaw and combo tool atrocity. Or do you mean manufacturing defects?
