For only $90, it might be worth a shot.  I wouldn't expect too much from them, and I'd keep lots of headache medication handy during use.

the difference between the "generations" (what they call the levels) is in; clarity, range, options, and durability.
the 4th generations, which cost thousands of dollars (even tens of K) are for a reason! You see far, clear, long,
and are tough (er).

with those don't expect a clear/far view outside (over 10 feet). farther it will probably get really blurry and darker.
the technology is getting better and the prices are getting lower, which is nice.

look for reviews on it, I would get nothing less then 2nd generation (if it don't say, it's 1st) and I'd make sure if I
didn't like them I could send it back (warranty and return policy). 100 bucks gets you some nice MTs!

looks like a fun toy (as most things are on thinkgeek?) but I wouldn't expect it to do anything exceptional... you get what you pay for

Thanks guys, as they as you get what you pay for and for that cheap price you guess it. Plus I learned the hard way if its too good to be true then most probably its too good to be true.
And I'm scared it my be a borg assimilation device :D

They look a bit bulky, and I suspect you'd do yourself an injury if you tried to do some ninja slash commando running/leaping/rolling.

I haven't seen any proper nightvision that isn't somewhat bulky... except of course the fictional ones in movies...

I actually saw this exact night vision goggle (Eyeclops; $90) at Toys R Us today.  It's made by Jakks Pacific  (who make wrestling action figures) and is marketed towards young kids who like spy gear so I can't see this to be too reliable.
This is called a Swiss Army Knife. Do you know what Switzerland is? Switzerland is a place where they don't like to fight, so they get people to do their fighting for them while they ski and eat chocolate. - Larry David

I actually have Generation 1 Bushnell Monocular that son #2 got me last year to play with at the camp. Used them one time and they were fun, but I jsut have no use for them. Hmmm maybe I should trade them.
