Well a trip to a 87 year old hardware store that is going out of business yielded some goodies today ( at 20% off original price tags)  everything is NIB !

LM Super Tool - BLACK - with nylon sheath,  dated  03/98 one handle - 04/98 on the other

Nope, I'm glad someone is using it!

I'd like to have another if the price/trade was right just to "have"..I don't think it would replace my Powerlock or Swisstool for EDC...the handles are uncomfortable on the old Leathermans

Use 'em enough though and you build up a callous of scar tissue. Problem solved.

It certainly sees a lot of use. 

Still damn loose as well.

That's exactly why i prefer the Super Tool 200.  The handles are much more comfortable than the original, and you don't have to deal with the flappy covers of the Powerlock.  The Swisstool is the best of both worlds though--comfort and outside-opening convenience.
