Youtube cliche and real-world icon? :D

No regrets, I get it now.....as you can see its mostly pristine, but I grabbed it by that tail and chopped some wood.
 Semi-ridiculous what the little thing can do :D

Changed my mind about making new scales, so next week the coating's coming off, some gun blue and that's it.  8)

Well, I was actually a bit serious, too. I think your BK2 is one of those production knives that people will still be talking about and buying 50 years from now as a classic design, like the Buck 110, the Ka-Bar USMC, and the SAK Classic SD.

SG who made that sheath for your BK2? I'm thinking I'll need a different sheath down the road.     :)

That was the factory kydex sheath that came with it plus a bit of paracord and an attachment point I added.

That appears to be a much better sheath than came with the BK7.   :)

It has very good retention and seems well built but I've read that a lot of folks replaced them with a leather style bushcraft sheath. Maybe just a style change? Idk.

Finally found a pic of this one so I don't have to go and dig it out. Crummy pic but still...

Kershaw Outcast

Never have got a decent edge on this one...lousy, uneven grind too.

To bad you can not get an decent edge on it SG. How long is the blade on it? That big ole recurve aught to be able to cut, chop up about any thing.     :D

Not in front of me but it's at least 10 inches or so...it should be awesome when I get the grind worked out. I've read good things about them....that damn D2 is a mother to work with.
