I forgot to post my 2nd 155 that I cleaned up to use as a walk around knife at the farm. It cleaned up nice with a Diet Coke blade soak plus it needed file work on the guard that was mangled. Add a $24 sheath from eBay and it's good to go.

Crummy indoor pic....sorry.

Here's my orig along with the backstory and reason it's marked the way it is.

"The knife and sheath are the Stagbrand pattern made by the George Schrade Knife Co. Bridgeport Ct.
Boker bought the company in 1956 and liquidated in 1958 after the Federal Switchblade Act. Your knife was made between those dates."

This week;after going for a spell without finding anything came up with two new ones.
The first was a little Western F28 in the original sheath found at an estate sale for $12. Never sharpened and likely never on a belt.
The second I found on e-Bay and won the bid.Listed as a letter opener(possibly is but I think it is a knife)and made from brass with a bit of engraving on both sides of the tang,it sports some beautiful un-cracked ivory scales.Strangely enough there is no maker's mark which is puzzling because the build quality is superb. Someone must have thought well of it because it came in it's own custom padded carry case. The price was right too: $25 including shipping.

Walking through the local flea market this morning I spied this little gem hiding in a display case behind a model car box. Not in the greatest of shape(a small bend near the cutting edge and some chips that were easily removed)and the paint on the handle was flaking and checking, but the original sheath was in decent shape.Got it home and removed some blade scratches without disturbing the blade etch.Going to leave it alone now.Cost:$6. Still researching the model;a new one on me.
