Yes I'm using it in the kitchen, but at present there's no one here to object.

Some slightly different fixed blade knives.
The first pic is a set of four steak knives made from two different types of jade. The other pieces pictured are letter openers made from various materials.
Second pic is another knife made from some type of stone.
Third is a tiny knife(or letter opener)made from "pachyderm jaw projections" and dated 1865.
Last is another knife made from white jade.

I swapped my RAT RC3 for this beauty - I liked the RC3 but found the handles to small. The Izula is the perfect size.

As I am a pacifist I won't tell Ms Pansy you said that, but no, it's a frown. Her usual frown.

This has gone to live with someone who will care for it
Good-by rusty little knife  :salute:

Added...
I love these knives, I call them Scout knives as in the good old days Boy Scouts used to carry them,
as you can see the sheath is fairly cheap but the knife is well made (although it's a puzzle to me that the tang has no stamp) and feels like it was made in Sheffield to me

I'm going to polish and sharpen this beauty and gift it to my daughter. I offered her my More, but she loves vintage and antique stuff so this fits the bill nicely.

Has anyone tried pyrographing on leather?

Nice trade.
Thanks Aloha. The RC3 was a lovely knife, but I've been after an Izula II for years. It'll be my go to fixed blade from now on. It's very comfortable in the hand, easy to EDC and just the right length and girth (easy now dks) for my requirements. My one concern was that it would rattle in the plastic sheath like the RC3 but it's a positive retention. No noise at all. Perfect!

WW2 Kabar USMC with the thick pommel and round peened tang . Not in the best shape and has really seen some use by the wear to the handle, but this is my earliest Kabar so far.
